Framer ads: sell sponsor spots on Framer
Short answer
Add your keyed Sponsor.st script in Site settings → General → Custom code, at “End of <body> tag”, then publish. Framer requires a paid site plan for custom code. Verify on the published site, mark a placement on the live page, and set its monthly price; the canvas preview does not run the script.
On this page
<script src="https://cdn.sponsor.st/s.js" data-site="YOUR_KEY" async></script>
Your key is filled in once you add your site.

-
Get your snippet. Create a free account, add your site and copy the tag from the site's page; your key is filled in.
-
Paste it. Open Site settings → General → Custom code, "End of
<body>tag". Paste the snippet, save, and publish your site.<script src="https://cdn.sponsor.st/s.js" data-site="YOUR_KEY" async></script> -
Click Check under "Check the install" on your site's page in the dashboard (on first setup it's at the bottom of the install card). Added it through a tag manager? Use Check DNS (a TXT record) or Check file instead.
-
Mark a spot. Open the editor on your live page, click where a sponsor goes, pick a format (Banner, Card, Inline mention, Logo strip or Top bar) and set a monthly price.
-
Connect Stripe or Dodo, then share your booking page or add the "Advertise on {domain}" link to your footer.
Framer notes
Plan requirement. Custom code is not on Framer's free plan. You need a paid site plan (Mini or higher).
Publish after saving. Framer adds custom code to the published site, not to the canvas preview. Publish first, then verify.
Layout changes. You mark the spot on the live page, not on the Framer canvas. If you rearrange sections later, open the editor and check the spot is still where you want it.
CMS pages. A spot marked on a CMS collection page appears on every item that uses that page, which suits one sponsor across all articles or listings.
If Check can't find the script
- Saved but not published. The canvas preview never carries the script; publish, then click Check.
- Added as a code component. Use the site-wide custom code field so every page has the script.
- The free plan. Custom code needs a paid site plan.
- Checking the framer.app address. Check the domain you added to Sponsor.st.
Removing it
Wait until running bookings have ended before deleting the tag. Removing it takes the script and its spots off your pages. If your site gets visits every day, a running booking logs downtime from the last time the script was seen; at the booking's end, those days become a refund due that you pay from your own Stripe or Dodo account. Pulling a booking early also leaves a refund due for its unused days.

FAQ
Can I add the script as a code component instead? Use the site-wide custom code field. It puts the script on every page, which verification and the editor rely on.
Will the spot match my design? Each format has a plain, neutral style that sits well on most Framer sites. Sponsors supply their logo, text and link.
Does it work on a framer.app or framer.website address? It can, but connect your own domain before you share your booking page, so brands see the address your readers know.
