Terms of service

These terms cover your use of Sponsor.st: the website, the dashboard and the script you add to your site. Sponsor.st is run by Nishant, a sole proprietor in India ("we"). By creating an account or booking a sponsorship, you agree to them.
What Sponsor.st is
Sponsor.st is a tool. Site owners ("owners") use it to mark sponsor spots on their own sites and sell calendar months on them. Sponsors book those months. We are not an ad network: we never choose the sponsor, never set the price, and never hold the money.
Payments between sponsors and owners
- A sponsor pays the owner directly, through the owner's own payment provider (such as Dodo). We take no cut.
- We are not a party to that payment. Receipts, invoices, taxes and refunds come from the owner's provider, and we can't refund a sponsorship.
- Dates are held for 30 minutes while a sponsor pays. A booking is confirmed when the owner's provider tells us the payment succeeded.
If you sell sponsorships (owners)
- You may only add sites you control, and you verify each one.
- You don't fake or buy traffic, clicks or impressions, and you don't tamper with how the script counts them.
- A sponsor is owed a refund when you pull them, reject them in review, or when their sponsorship isn't shown (downtime). You refund it in your own payment provider and mark it refunded. A refund left unmarked for 14 days shows on your public profile.
- You keep your payment provider in good standing and follow its rules and the law where you sell.
- Sponsor links carry
rel="sponsored". Don't remove it.
If you book sponsorships (sponsors)
- Your brand, text, images and link follow the Sponsor rules, and you have the right to use them.
- Sponsorships can't be cancelled by the sponsor. Ask the owner, who may refund you.
- Disputes about a sponsorship are between you and the owner. The delivery report is the record both sides see.
Plans
- The Free plan has limits on sites and slots. Pro costs $19 a month, billed through our own Dodo account, and you can cancel any time.
- If a Pro payment fails, Dodo retries for 14 days. After that your account moves to Free. Nothing is deleted: running bookings finish, and you pick which slots stay open.
Suspension
We may hide a sponsor, a slot or a site, or suspend an account, when it breaks these terms or the Sponsor rules, puts visitors at risk (for example a harmful link), or when the law requires it. Where we can, we tell you why.
The service
- We work to keep the script small, safe and running, but the service is provided "as is". If the script can't reach us, it shows nothing and never breaks your site.
- As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses or lost profits, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Closing your account
You can close your account at any time, except while you have bookings in review, upcoming or live, or refunds you haven't marked paid. Booking records stay, without your personal details, so owners' track records stay correct. See the Privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we email you before it applies. Continuing to use Sponsor.st after that means you accept it.
Law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Vadodara, Gujarat, have jurisdiction over any dispute.
